Jennifer Linscott Tietgen "Aunt Nen" 1975 - 2002 "My aunt Nen loved to wear necklaces. My aunt Nen died from Melanoma in June 2002. She was 27 years old. I loved my aunt Nen. I have decided to make necklaces in memory of my aunt and to make money to help other people who are sick like my aunt Nen was. The money I make will be donated to the Jennifer Linscott Tietgen family foundation and will benefit melanoma research and education. I am asking $15 for each necklace. Thank you for your help and support."

Jennifer had a fun-loving, beautiful spirit and a fierce resolve to accomplish her goals. She attended Susquehanna University, played soccer, joined Kappa Delta sorority, broadened her horizons and accumulated a host of loyal, trusted friends. Upon graduation, she attended New Haven University and despite the diagnosis of melanoma and two major operations, through determination, she graduated on schedule with a GPA of 3.9 and a master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. She left New Haven with a promising future and an enviable job with Cisco Systems. Her disease progressed and she fought back with staunch resolution, amazing fortitude and resilience, ever-present humor and unwavering hope; buoyed by the loving support of family and friends. Jennifer died on June 13, 2002. The Jennifer Linscott Tietgen Foundation was established to develop a legacy for Jennifer, to honor her memory, her high-spirited zest for life, her ability to overcome obstacles and not complain, her commitment to making life better for others and her enduring appreciation for family. Through the Nenny Necklace campaign, we hope to continue the work she began with melanoma research and education. /Contact us at nennysnecklaces@aol.com /
